European Teams on the Bubble for Playoffs

Portugal need a win at home against Malta, then Sweden, and Hungary a long shot
Greece are looking good ahead of Israel, with the last match against Luxembourg
Slovenia look poised to take it with a win against San Marino, Czech Republic against NIR, with NIR a long shot
Russia secured a playoff spot by losing today
Bosnia-Herzegovina
Ukraine, and Croatia
France
Republic of Ireland
Norway and Scotland tied for second, FYR Macedonia a long shot
In South America, Chile and Argentina look good to finish out the group, with Ecuador and Uruguay ready to fight through playoffs. Interestingly, Argentina controls their fate against Uruguay.
New Zealand and Bahrain face off against each other one more time.

Highlights:
This round, Denmark, Mexico, Italy and Germany got their tickets worked out.
Italy barely avoided an upset, against hopeful hopefuls Ireland. Oh Trapattoni, you could at least try.
Argentina are still in it.
France trounced Faroe Islands 5-0
Belarus beat Borat 4-0
USA are through, only after a long 90 minutes.
